We had our local Google Developer Group event, a whole day of talks on topics such as Progressive Web Apps, Angular, WebComponents, Flutter & Kubernetes among others!

Hacktoberfest is an annual month-long event held in the month of October organised by GitHub, DigitalOcean and Twilio Inc. to celebrate and encourage developers to get involved and contribute to open source projects. Yesterday we had our local event in Mauritius organised by MSCC and hosted at Extension Interactive, packed with talks, demos, coding sessions & pizza! In this month’s MSCC meetup, we had a local .NET Conf event at Polytechnics Mauritius! Jochen Kirstätter spoke about state of .NET Core 2.1, roadmap to .NET Core 2.2 & 3, and we discussed about Blazor, a .NET web framework that runs directly in the browser. I explained Azure DevOps and gave a demo on getting an ASP.NET web app live on Azure using Git repositories on Azure Repos & CI/CD with Azure Pipelines.
